Murielle Machiels: Why agility requires a higher level of consciousness
Digitalization was already transforming organizations and the pandemic accelerated the shift. The way we work is fundamentally changing. The power has shifted from employers to employees with a war for talent. People are now looking for meaning, impact & balance. Team dynamics are shifting from giving instructions to empowerment and trust. Without empowerment there is no agility, more stress, more meetings and a huge workload. Leaders play a crucial role in building empowerment and need to adapt to this new reality to get the best out of their teams. Gone are the days of the powerful alpha leader! Welcome conscious leader

Marc Gelissen: Social engagement as cornerstone for organizational success
Marc is the founder of Bizzomate, a low-code software company in The Netherlands. One of the cornerstones of this organization is the fact that the participants of Bizzomate can spend up to 10% of their time on a charity of their choice. Marc is convinced that this leads to a lot of positive results and is one of the success factors of this organization: • Relative easy to attract new talent; • Low sickness rate; • Low turnover; • High personal growth. During his lecture Marc will share his experience in setting up this initiative and explain his view on the future of organization development.

    Stijn Follet: Agile Contract Manifesto
'No one can stop the idea, whose time has come'. A few like-minded thought leaders, active in the agile delivery and sourcing came together and created the Agile Contract Manifesto, which has seen the light of day in Q1 2022. With this talk, co-creator Stijn Follet brings the Manifesto to life through storytelling and will try to provoke your thinking process around how to contract. Why did they think there was a need for such a publication, who are the creators, and how did they make it happen? And how do the Values and Principles come to life? • Tangible outcomes more than specified deliverables • Clarity and simplicity more than complexity and completeness • Adaptive partnerships more than static relationships • Joint ownership more than risk-driven accountability Agile Consortium Belgium is proud to be among the first platforms to spread this initiative that has the potential to bring profound change in the industry. Do you need more? Do you want to connect with the creators? Do you want to support the initiative by signing it? Then head to: https://agilecontractmanifesto.org/

Andrea Provaglio: Agile beyond the practices: it’s a matter of metaphors
Business agility can be seen as a modern response to a business and social environment that is changing faster than the pace at which many companies can change themselves. In this session I will share lessons learned from 15 years of Agile Coaching on enterprise level and I will provide some practical advice. You’ll see how your organization’s underlying metaphors influence, positively or negatively, its agility; how we can use some design pattern to go below the surface of Agile; and how these patterns promote a deeper understanding of business agility at all levels in the organization.

Team topologies, quite a complicated story when you first hear of it. You really have to make it your own if you want it to stick. In this workshop I will guide you through a 'learning space' where you will come up with your own solution using the Team Topology patterns. You’ll apply the different team and collaboration forms immediately, after a short introduction. In 50 minutes you master the basics. After the workshop you will have an excellent idea of where to apply Team Topologies and how to take the first steps with a team.

Milos Zevkovic: Reframing professionalism of agile coaching with Agile Coaching Growth Wheel
Want to improve your agile coaching skills? Unsure what your next step should be? Then join me in exploring Agile Coaching Growth Wheel, a great tool for reflecting on your skill levels in various areas of agile coaching. What is the Wheel and how is this relevant now? Back in the day, Lyssa Atkins and Michael Spayd created the Agile Coaching Competency Framework (ACCF) to help the emerging profession of agile coaching. Since then, agile coaching has grown, standards have been set and competence domains have been formulated. It’s time to gear up, reframe what agile coaching competencies are and increase the level of professionalism we bring. For this purpose, numerous agile coaches have developed Agile Coaching Growth Wheel building on the work of Atkins and Spayd. The Wheel is for Agile Coaches, Scrum Masters, Leaders, and anyone who desires to increase their ability to help and grow teams and organizations using Agile principles and practices. The wheel has eight segments or spokes, representing eight competency skills areas built around a hub of self-mastery. It allows you to reflect and grow on your agile journey and is best used in tandem with another coach.. In our session, we will do a quick group coaching sampling of the Agile Coaching Growth Wheel v 3.0 so you can use it to reflect and grow on your Agile journey.
    13:20 - 14:10

Amir Peled: Antidotes to Team Toxins - Visual Edition
Do you have experience with teams that resorted to unskillful communication occasionally or during some challenging times? You are not alone! It’s time to acknowledge that when these unskillful communications persist without being addressed, they become toxic to relationships and eventually erode performance, trust, and morale within the team. In this practical and highly visual workshop (posters drawn by Amir Peled) you will: • Become aware of the 4 team toxins most people use from time to time • Comprehend how using them on a daily basis can destroy teams and relationships • Review the antidotes which counteract team toxins • Pick up an antidote and practice Do not miss this learning and sharing opportunity! You can help the team to take responsibility for toxic communication and to consciously design their own agreement for constructive conflict. The team deserve it. And you deserve it too!
    13:20 - 14:10
Yves Hanoulle & Stijn Decneut: We have come to value learning organisations over agile transformations
No two agile transformations are alike. We think that the ability to learn as an organisation makes the difference between success and failure. In this session, we will explore with you what it means to become a learning organisation. We will combine findings from scientific research about learning with your and our experience.
    14:10 - 15:00
Patrick Steyaert: The future of Lean Agile Leadership is ... like what?
People don’t always say what they do and do what they say. It seems to be a common weakness for most of us mere mortals. Especially when we find ourselves subjected to an, oftentimes toxic, culture of calculated, prescribed, “do as I say, not as I do” leadership. To the opposite, when we are in the position where we (can) act in line with what we say, a feeling of contagiously spontaneous leadership, a feeling of being in control of our own fate, arises. In this workshop we will explore the “saying-doing” gap in the specific context of lean and agile leadership. We will examine how lean agile leadership is subject to the law of raspberry jam (the wider you spread it, the tinner it gets) and how lean agile mastery that goes beyond the well-known recipes can act as a counterforce. The active part of the workshop is to give participants a feel of their own level of mastery and how well they, themselves, can go beyond the obvious lean and agile recipes. The purpose is to examine a future of lean and agile leadership where our fate, and that of lean and agile, is in our own hands...
    15:20 - 16:10
Thomas Rafflin: Step up your facilitation game with the 7P Canvas & the 6 Axis of Facilitation
Facilitation is a core competency for Scrum Masters, Agile Coaches and Agile Leaders - keep it sharp thanks to this 'learn-by-doing' workshop. In this session, you will practice with 2 tools that can make a difference in the way you facilitate: - The 7P Canvas is a one pager summarising everything a good facilitator needs to have in mind when getting ready to facilitate: Purpose, Product, People, Process, Preparation, Practicalities and Pitfalls - The "6 Axis of Facilitation" is a model that helps you make a conscious decision on what type of facilitator you want to be: a driver of the group or a guide of the process.
